SSC & ELAC
The School Site Council (SSC) is an elected group representative of the school's staff, parents, and students (middle school).
The School Site Council helps to develop a School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) at school that receive Title I Funds. The SSC must monitor implementation of the plan, evaluate the results, and recommend the plan to the local governing board annually.
English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is in an advisory role to the SSC. It is responsible for making recommendations to the SSC about activities to increase the achievement of EL students. The SSC receives the recommendations of ELAC and gives feedback as to those recommendations in an ongoing cycle of advisement and feedback.
